Members of The Reigate Business Guild all came together to support local Reigate based charity Loveworks by donating almost a tonne of food!
Loveworks support those who are in need, whether it be a family who have come by hard times, lonely elderly people who may be living alone and need some company or those who have unfortunately ended up living on the streets and rely on the support of Loveworks to give them food and drink. The charity called for help when their supplies were running low and the team at Reigate Business Guild were only too happy to help. By putting a call out to their members who are all local Reigate based businesses and individuals they ended up with a huge haul in a matter of days.
Last night at the monthly Reigate Business Guild meeting, Graham Humphries, a volunteer with Loveworks addressed the meeting to give a huge thank you and explain to the guild members the importance of what they had all done and why they need continued support. A few local businesses including Gerrards, Inside Out and Pistachios in the Park have all offered to become donation points for people to donate food items to the charity.
