Every year Reigate Business Guild raise funds to enable Reigate Town Centre to be lit up at Christmas time. The Reigate Christmas Lights cost approximately £15,000 per year to maintain, install and store when not in use. We arrange the licences required for the lights to be installed each year and work with the Borough Council and County Council to ensure they are safe and comply with all Council procedures. Regular pull tests are carried out to ensure the 11 cross streets are all safe. The lights are switched on each year at The Reigate Business Guild Christmas Fayre by the Mayor or Lady Mayor of Reigate & Banstead.
