The Reigate Business Guild Christmas Fayre is one of our main fundraising events to raise money for the Christmas Lights and is by far the busiest day of the year in Reigate. It is a wonderful way to kick start the Christmas Season as well as provide the showcase for the Christmas Light switch on at 16:30. Each year we close Church Street from 06:00 to 19:00 with stalls open from 11:00 to 17:00. We expect a large number of visitors on the day and have a whole host of fantastic stalls offering food, drink and gifts. We also have a wonderful Tombola and Chocolate Tombola which specifically raise funds towards the Christmas Lights Appeal. We have a fully booked stage at the western end of Church Street with a number of local schools, clubs and colleges providing entertainment throughout the day and Santa also made a surprise appearance on the roof of the Old Town Hall after the light switch on.

There is a dedicated food experience zone in our Yuletide Tunnel with several food stalls, bar and live music located in Tunnel Road.

We are always on the lookout for volunteers to help with the organisation of the Christmas Fayre – even if it’s just to help on the day.
