The Christmas Fayre is by far the busiest day of the year in Reigate and a wonderful way to kick start the Christmas Season as well as provide the showcase for the Christmas Light switch on at 16:30. Each year we close Church Street from 06:00 to 19:30. We expect a large number of visitors on the day and have a whole host of fantastic stalls offering food, drink and gifts. We also have a wonderful Tombola and Chocolate Tombola which helps to raise funds towards the Christmas Lights Appeal.

We have a fully booked stage at the western end of Church Street with a number of local schools, clubs and colleges providing entertainment throughout the day and Santa also made a surprise appearance on the roof of the Old Town Hall after the light switch on.

This year there will be a dedicated food experience zone with several stalls and live music located in The Reigate Tunnel with seating for 120 people. The theme for the area will celebrate Reigate’s twinning with the German town of Eschweiler.

We are always on the lookout for volunteers to help with the organisation of the Christmas Fayre – even if it’s just to help on the day.
